Al Hilal Sends Letter to Saudi League Requests Not to Postpone Match
According to Saudi media reports, Al Hilal has officially sent a letter to the Saudi Professional League Association requesting not to postpone their match against Al Nassr.
Al Hilal was originally scheduled to face Al Ain, a UAE team, in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-finals on April 17th at midnight (Beijing time). However, due to adverse weather conditions in the UAE, the match has been postponed by one day and rescheduled for April 18th at midnight (Beijing time). This arrangement means that just 50 hours after playing Al Ain away, Al Hilal will have to travel to play Al Nassr in the league.
In light of this situation, reports from Saudi media claim that Al Hilal has formally written to the Saudi Professional League Association, requesting not to postpone their match against Al Nassr. The reason cited is that similar requests made by them in the past were denied, and if the Saudi Professional League Association agrees to postpone Al Hilal's match, it would be unfair.
