Rumors: PSG set to splash out €200m on Lamine Yamal
PSG are reportedly still thinking about trying to sign Lamine Yamal from Barcelona and have made the teenager one of the club’s priorities this summer.
Le Parisien are reporting Luis Campos has set his sights on Yamal after seeing the teenager impress against his team in their Champions League quarter-final.
PSG are set to lose superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer and are already looking at ways they can try to move forward without the France international.
Joan Laporta has already claimed to have rejected an offer of €200 million for Yamal, and it seems like another bid may be in the offing.
The report claims the fee of €200m has been “circulating in the corridors of PSG” and “should be taken seriously.”
There’s also a suggestion that the fact relations between PSG and Barca aren’t great won’t be a hinderance to any deal because Yamal’s agent is now Jorge Mendes.
Campos has an “excellent professional relationship” with Mendes, who also represents PSG stars Warren Zaire-Emery, Bradley Barcola, Vitinha, Marco Asensio, Manuel Ugarte and Gonçalo Ramos .
